Technical visit to the vineyard
Immerse yourself in the world of wine from its very origin with this technical vineyard tour. Just 20 minutes from the city, we will visit some of the most beautiful wineries in Mendoza, located in the renowned “First Viticultural Zone,” the cradle of Malbec. Depending on the season, we will observe different cultivation techniques and the work of the vineyard workers at each stage. A winery expert will show us the irrigation system and explain how the soil and altitude influence the wine’s structure and flavor. If it’s harvest season, we’ll even get to pick grapes with our own hands.
Guided by a sommelier, we’ll taste wines straight from the tank and barrel, discovering how vineyard management affects their quality. We’ll finish this exclusive experience with a special tasting and a traditional lunch. At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote sustainable tourism and responsible water use in Mendoza.

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
