Step into the vineyard and learn to prune like a winemaker while enjoying winter views of the Andes. A seasonal, feel-good experience that connects you directly with Mendoza’s wine traditions.

Pruning experience in Mendoza’s best vineyards

Come and experience the pruning of iconic Mendoza vineyards. During the winter months, you’ll learn about the treatment of plants before they bear fruit, surrounded by the stunning views of the Andes mountain range. Just 20 minutes from the city, we’ll visit a winery and learn about the history of the wine region, observing the work of the vineyard workers and how the vines are treated.

The tour begins with a private vehicle transfer, where our expert guides will provide you with the necessary equipment to prune. You’ll learn about the different types of cuts and their impact on the plant. During the tour, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting, and to finish, we’ll celebrate with a traditional wood-fired barbecue and the flavors of local cuisine.

What do you need for this tour?

Essential items

We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:

  • Small backpack.
  • Extra mineral water.
  • Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
  • Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.

Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.

Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
