Argentina makes wine along two thousand kilometres of the Andes, but almost every wine trip starts in Mendoza. It is where the Malbec you know is grown, where the wineries are set up to receive visitors every day of the year, and where we live and operate.

There are two ways to book it and both are below. Take a day tour when Mendoza is already in your itinerary, or a package of three to six days when the wine is the reason you are coming.

ARGENTINA WINE DAY TOURS

Departures from Mendoza city into Luján de Cuyo, Maipú, the Uco Valley and San Rafael. Private, semi private or small group, with a bilingual guide, hotel pick-up and the wineries booked in advance.

The full range is organised by region and by format: Luján de Cuyo, Uco Valley, San Rafael, private wine tours, bike tours and winery lunch. Or browse every wine tour we run.

ARGENTINA WINE TOUR PACKAGES

Three to six days with the hotel, the transfers, the airport pick-up and every winery table booked before you land. This is the format for travellers coming to Argentina for the wine rather than adding a winery to a city break.

We also build itineraries from scratch. See all Mendoza packages or tailor made trips.

WHERE ARGENTINA'S WINE IS MADE

Five regions matter, and they are far apart. This is what each one is, and where we operate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Mendoza. It has the highest concentration of visitable wineries in the country and a direct flight from Buenos Aires of under two hours. Three days is enough for the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, which are the two regions most travellers come for.
Wineries receive visitors all year. Harvest runs from late February to April and is the busiest and most atmospheric time, so book well ahead. Spring, from October to December, has the vineyards in leaf and fewer people.
No. Our guides work in English and Portuguese, and the tastings are given in your language.
Yes, as a tailor made itinerary. Tell us the dates and the cities and we will handle the internal flights, the hotels and the winery bookings in each region.
Most of what we run is private: your own vehicle, your own guide and a day built for your group. We also operate semi private departures for two to eight people, and a smaller number of regular group tours. See private wine tours for the full comparison.
