Get ready to live 3 days of expedition and total disconnection in the mountain. If you come to Mendoza you can not miss this trekking in the Aconcagua to the base camp of Plaza Francia and live close to the high altitude mountaineering. An exclusive tour that mixes adrenaline, adventure and nature.
We will accompany you on a trip to the heart of the Andes Mountains, where you will discover wonderful landscapes and you will face the giant of America in a unique experience.
A driver will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning. Together with an expert guide in High Mountain we will head towards the Aconcagua Provincial Park to begin our journey. Upon arrival we will check that the equipment is complete and we will learn about the precautions to take into account. Once ready, we will start with the trekking.
The first day we will arrive at Confluencia, the camp where we will spend the night. It will be a 4 hour hike in which we will climb from 2,800 to 3,400 meters above sea level. Upon arrival we will have a reception with snacks to replenish energy and continue enjoying the majestic landscapes. We will have dinner in large dining tents and rest in comfortable tents prepared to face the wind and cold of the mountain.
The next day we will wake up very early. After breakfast, we will start trekking to Plaza Francia. We will take the path that goes along the Horcones Inferior glacier and in 5 hours we will climb to 4,100 meters. Arriving at base camp we will be impressed by the famous South Wall of Aconcagua, one of the most difficult and dangerous climbing routes in the world for those who choose to summit the colossus. After a box lunch at the foot of the immense ice wall, we will return to Confluencia, where we will be welcomed with fruit and drinks to continue our descent to the exit of the Park.
We will return to the city happy to have experienced an unforgettable excursion to the heart of the highest mountain in America.
During the trip you will surely see some condors flying over the road. You will never cease to be amazed by their beauty and you will never forget this pure encounter with the sacred bird of the Andes.
