Argentina traditions package. Visit the wineries and a Huarpe community
This 4-day itinerary invites you to explore Mendoza through its traditions, landscapes, and ancestral cultures, combining wine routes with a meaningful cultural encounter. Designed for travelers interested in understanding the roots of the region, the journey connects vineyard landscapes at the foot of the Andes with desert environments shaped by history, water, and native knowledge.
During the trip, you’ll cycle from the city to Chacras de Coria, discovering Mendoza’s irrigation systems, architecture, and wine culture along the way, followed by a regional lunch paired with selected wines. The experience continues with a guided visit to the Lavalle area, where you’ll explore the Telteca Forest Provincial Reserve, walk through desert dunes, and meet members of the Huarpe community. Sharing a homemade lunch and learning about local traditions offers a deeper connection to Mendoza’s cultural heritage, creating a balanced itinerary that blends nature, wine, and living traditions.

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
