Argentina wine regions. Full Mendoza wine experience

Day 1 – Welcome Mendoza

Arrive to Mendoza, reception at the bus station or airport and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 2 – Unique – the most outstanding: 95+ wines

Luján de Cuyo, considered the Cradle of the Malbec, comprises lush tree lines and extensive vineyards blended with beautiful residential areas and just like this we will begin our journey through the Wine Road.

Mendoza has different styles of wineries: industrials, historical, boutiques and garages. On our best wine tasting tour, we visit the most awarded boutiques wineries recognized by international referents as: Robert Parker, Stephen Tanzer, James Suckling, Tim Atkin and others. In other words, whose ratings achieved scores higher than 95/100 points in the international wines lists. Each of these wines stands out for its elegance, awakening sensations in addition to their power, personality and excellence.

We begin this experience accompanied by an specialized guide who helps us to reveal the wine secrets. For instance, flavors and aromas of these small pieces of art, each of them elaborated with the best vineyards of the region. Also, on this Argentina wine regions package, at the top of the most important lists.

At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a great gourmet lunch.

Day 3 – Winemaker for a day

This tour takes place at a well known winery. It consists in learning basic aspects of a winemaker’s job. We leave the hotel in the morning to visit an important winery of Mendoza. The tour begins with a technical chat so we learn about the different grapevines. After that, we’ll work in teams or simply ourselves to start playing with wine samples and start tasting and finding new aromas and flavours. Then, guided by the wine hosts, we will experience and enjoy creating a new sample wine and a label afterwords.

At the end, each participant will present their wine to a jury in the most creative and convincing way as possible. The winners will receive a surprise prize!

Of course, regional or gourmet lunch is included paired with the most outstanding wines of the winery.

Day 4 – Wine tasting class

Let’s enjoy the experience of learning through the senses!

Led by expert hosts, we will explore the passionate world of wine. An introductory course about the grape growing and winemaking process step by step. The course is thought for people who would like to start and for the ones who have had some experience and want to update their knowledge with issues of the new world wines. 

On completion, you will enjoy lunch at either the restaurants of Zuccardi Winery; Casa Del Visitante/Pan & Oliva.   

Day 5 – Leave Mendoza. End of the Argentina wine regions package.

According to your departure time described above you will be taken to the airport or bus station.

 –  Special clothing: cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable clothes  and suitable shoes, additional mineral water.
