Itinerary

Arrive to Mendoza, reception at the bus station or airport and transfer to the selected hotel. This is how we start the biking vacation in Mendoza.
Chacras de Coria and Vistalba are small villages located in the region of Lujan de Cuyo. Half an hour away from Mendoza City, this area boasts beautiful country houses in between tree lined roads, wine cellars and ancient vineyards along which we bike the friendly Wine Road of Lujan de Cuyo. Led by local guides, and after taking our bikes and helmets we start our tour. Then, we will visit two world-class vineyards and wineries. Also, walking around their facilities we will experience different ways of wine making. We will learn the steps to taste a good Wine and at the end of the ride, we will savour a gourmet lunch paired with the best wines of the region.
Mendoza is a city designed to be traveled in a simple and friendly way, that's why you can discover the streets, squares, buildings and outstanding places through a bicycle tour. Taking our bikes we’ll ride around the Plaza Independencia, which is the center of five squares that make up the urban layout of the city. You will also visit the San Martín General Park, which for more than a century has been one of the most important urban green spaces in Argentina, because of its size and because of its proximity to the city. It currently covers 17kms of roads and 82 hectares of green spaces plus 307 hectares cultivated. The most trained will have the opportunity to climb to Monument to General San Martin on top and then make the descent of Cerro de la Gloria before going to Chacras de Coria through the Cyclo-tracks where we will enjoy a Gourmet Lunch in Clos de Chacras Winery. Return by vehicle to your hotel downtown.
According to your departure time described above you will be taken to the airport or bus station.

What do you need for this tour?

Essential items

We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:

  • Small backpack.
  • Extra mineral water.
  • Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
  • Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.

Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.

Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
