Colonial style winery tour
Discover Mendoza’s winemaking history on a tour of colonial-style wineries that preserve the essence of the early 20th century. In Luján de Cuyo, Maipú, and the Uco Valley, you’ll walk among century-old vineyards with stunning views of the Andes Mountains.
With an expert guide, explore how immigration influenced winery architecture: external galleries, cozy courtyards, high wooden ceilings, and thick brick walls that naturally maintain ideal cellar temperatures. Learn about traditional winemaking methods and enjoy tastings of exceptional wines. The experience concludes with a gourmet lunch paired with selected wines.
At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote sustainable tourism and the responsible use of water, a vital resource for Mendoza.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
