Get ready to enjoy a day at Estancia Rancho é Cuero, an exclusive place where the countryside and comfort complement each other perfectly. 

La Carrera is located 90 km from the city, in the department of Tupungato. This area is characterized by unforgettable mountain scenery, pure nature and a breathtaking view of the Cordón del Plata.

We will start this incredible adventure very early in the morning. We will pick you up at your lodging when the sun is rising. In comfortable 4×4 vans prepared for mountain roads, we will drive to this exclusive ranch hidden in the mountain range. 

Upon arrival you will be amazed by the Andean beauty that surrounds the old part of the estancia. There they will be waiting for us with hot coffee and delicious homemade pastries. After breakfast it will be time to start connecting with nature. 

Now it’s time! Throughout the day we will be able to do different activities. We will have the freedom to choose which one to do and the duration of it. The horseback rides are on tame criollos, who know the terrain perfectly. We will have quality equipment, helmets to protect us, gaiters and comfortable saddles. 

If the choice is to go trekking, we will walk along marked trails through beautiful ravines, with varying degrees of difficulty. We can also dedicate part of the day to fly fishing in the Guevara stream, where you can see rainbow trout along this meltwater course that runs through the estancia.

During the activities we can go on a photographic safari. The area is ideal for spotting native species such as guanacos, red deer, condors, hares and foxes. We will also learn about the local flora and its characteristics, among them the “jarilla”, our provincial flower.

At noon we will return to the estancia to enjoy a typical Argentine “asado” with excellent quality cuts. At the table, the glasses will be filled to toast with award-winning wines from the Uco Valley.

During the afternoon, we can continue our activities or relax by the stream, listening to the ancestral silence that dominates the mountain. At sunset we will wrap up warm to say goodbye and return to the city full of energy. 

Bring an empty bottle to fill it with pure melt water. Besides being always hydrated you will purify your body.

– Extra mineral water.

– Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen SPF50, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).

– Special clothing: cap or hat, sunglasses, comfortable and warm clothing (polar/sweater, windbreaker), appropriate footwear for the activity.
