Spend a relaxed country day at a private ranch in the Uco Valley, combining horseback riding, local flavors, and open landscapes. A slow-paced experience designed for comfort, authenticity, and care for the land.

You will enjoy a unique country day at Vivacs del Plata, a private ranch in the Uco Valley. We will pick you up early from your accommodation in Mendoza and, after a 1.5-hour drive through vineyards and olive groves, your day will begin with freshly brewed coffee and handmade pastries.

Later, you will set out on a guided horseback ride across 400 hectares of peaceful landscapes. The relaxed pace will allow you to connect with nature and take in spectacular views. You will pause at a scenic lookout to enjoy a glass of wine and a selection of regional cheeses.

Upon returning, a live empanada station with freshly baked pastries will be waiting, followed by a four-course gourmet lunch featuring premium meats, seasonal vegetables, and selected wines. The day will close with desserts and coffee by the outdoor fireplace—and a genuine commitment to caring for the land.

What do you need for this tour?

Essential items

We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:

  • Small backpack.
  • Extra mineral water.
  • Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
  • Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.

Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.

Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
