Grape Harvest Festival
The Grape Harvest Festival in Mendoza is the most emblematic and exciting event in the region. This annual celebration has positioned itself as one of the most important open-air shows in the world and takes place during the grape harvest season in March.
This festival, whose first official edition was held in 1936, honors the tradition and importance of the wine industry in our province and pays tribute to the wine culture by recognizing and thanking the effort and dedication of agricultural workers.
With a festival full of color, joy and culture that attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators from around the world, for several days, Mendoza is transformed into a scene of celebration in which locals and visitors attend various events such as the Carousel of the Queens, the Via Blanca and the Central Act.
We invite you to experience the central act of the National Grape Harvest Festival at the Frank Romero Day Greek Theater, an artistic show that combines live music, dance, theatrical performances, lights and projections to tell the story of the grape harvest and the wine culture of the region, with more than 1,000 artists on stage.
Our trips are designed so that when you return home you feel that something has changed and we know that sustainable tourism is the way to achieve it. In SAK Wine & Travel we contribute to the Sustainable Development Goal Nº6: Water, a fundamental resource for Mendoza.
