Come and harvest! Vendimia tour in Mendoza wineries
Come and live the harvest experience in Mendoza, a unique adventure during the Vendimia. From February to April, you’ll be able to participate in the grape picking in the vineyards of Luján de Cuyo and Maipú, in the first wine region of Argentina. We’ll start the day with private transportation to an exclusive winery, where you’ll be greeted by expert guides and receive the necessary equipment for the harvest. You’ll learn about the characteristics of the grapes, the different harvesting methods, and the importance of manual harvesting for high-end wines.
During this experience, you’ll taste wines from previous harvests, and to finish, you’ll celebrate with a traditional Argentine lunch paired with exclusive wines. At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote sustainable tourism, and by traveling with us, you support our philosophy of water conservation in Mendoza.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
