High Andes Tour & Snow Experience in the Andes
We will pick you up from your accommodation to begin a journey along the iconic High Andes route, passing through Cacheuta, Potrerillos, Uspallata, Los Penitentes, and Puente del Inca, until reaching the surroundings of Aconcagua Provincial Park.
There, you will experience the Snow Experience: a backcountry ski activity on untouched snow, with a brief technical introduction and no prior experience required. Before starting, you will enjoy a welcome reception with regional cold cuts and wine in the heart of the Andes.
Throughout the day, you will combine the mountain journey with an active snow experience, guided by experts in small groups. On the way back, we will stop in Uspallata to enjoy a mountain-style lunch before returning to the city.
At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote responsible tourism by caring for the natural mountain environment and encouraging the conscious use of its resources.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Additional mineral water and personal thermos (1L).
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, SPF 50 sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Goggles or sunglasses.
- Gloves and buff.
- Special clothing: comfortable layered warm clothing (thermal base layer, fleece, insulated jacket and waterproof jacket), waterproof pants, ski socks (2 pairs), beanie or sun hat.
- Complete change of clothes.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
