Las Leñas Tour from San Rafael
The excursion begins early in the morning, when the fresh mountain air and the golden light of dawn accompany the first kilometers. As you move forward, the road opens between majestic peaks and a deep blue sky, revealing the immensity of the Andes. While Las Leñas is internationally famous for its excellent ski slopes, its true charm goes far beyond the snow: it is a destination that captivates year-round, with unique landscapes and activities for all tastes.
The journey will take you through unforgettable settings: the vast Salinas del Diamante (access available only in summer), the tranquility of the picturesque village of El Sosneado, and the grandeur of the Infiernillo Viewpoint. You will be amazed by the Laguna de La Niña Encantada (access available only in summer), a turquoise-water lagoon steeped in legends, and by the Pozo de las Ánimas, two natural formations that seem to open into another world. Around midday, you will have free time to enjoy exquisite regional flavors that complete the experience. Then, in the Las Leñas Valley, you can explore mountain trails, go horseback riding, venture out on a bike ride, or simply relax while breathing the pure Andean air.

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
