Los Reyunos Tour from San Rafael
In the early afternoon, you’ll set out on a journey that blends history, natural beauty, and the mark of human ingenuity. The scenery opens up among vineyards, fields, and colorful hills until we reach the historic Villa 25 de Mayo, where time seems to have stopped in its streets and founding buildings. Here, you’ll feel the heartbeat of the past that shaped the region.
We’ll continue to the Galileo Vitale Dam, an impressive feat of engineering that reflects humanity’s ability to manage water in an arid climate, transforming its flow into mirror-like surfaces that reflect the sky. Further along, the road leads to the majestic Los Reyunos Dam: a turquoise lake surrounded by hills that shift colors with the light of day. If you wish, you can add optional activities such as catamaran rides, ziplining, canoeing, or relaxing by the pool (seasonal availability). Before heading back, we’ll visit a local factory to taste regional products and discover the flavors that define San Rafael.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
