In this olive oil tasting course, you will discover the production processes and unique flavors of olive oils from the Maipú region, famous for its ideal climate for producing “Arauco.” You will visit renowned wineries and learn about sustainable agricultural practices, the biodiversity of the olive groves, and the history of each mill.

Through guided tastings, you will explore different varietals, their acidity, and the secrets of liquid gold. The experience will conclude with a meal paired with olive oils, putting into practice what you have learned. Itinerary

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation and drive to selected olive groves in Maipú, known for producing Arauco olives. With a specialist, you’ll learn about cultivation, milling, and sustainable practices before tasting different oils and comparing varietals. The experience ends with a paired meal before we return you to your accommodation.

Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.

Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
