Organic & Bio – Sustainable Wineries
Organic wines made with sustainable practices are gaining more and more space in this world. We invite you to learn about these techniques and enter into a new form of conscious consumption, which invites you to have healthier habits and preserve our planet.
Luján de Cuyo, Maipú and Valle de Uco are the main wine regions of Mendoza. As you have probably heard before, they are made up of lush trails of trees that grow thanks to the irrigation system designed by man. Completing the landscape are vast expanses of vineyards and, of course, old and modern wineries that star in this new organic wine route.
Organic wine production and viticulture not only help preserve the environment, but also make the consumption of this product healthier. The new world is looking for environmentally friendly actions and that is why there are some wineries that incorporate different processes to produce organic and bio sustainable products. For example: they fertilize the soil with material from farms and orchards; they plan their procedures in relation to the movements of the sun and planets or use gravity for wine production, designing and building wineries on natural slopes.
In this organic wine tour, we will learn the different winemaking techniques and the secrets to make their production friendly to the environment, people and their surroundings. After that, we will enjoy an excellent wine tasting and a delicious gourmet lunch.
Our trips are designed so that when you return home you feel that something has changed and we know that sustainable tourism is the way to achieve it. In SAK Wine & Travel we contribute to the Sustainable Development Goal Nº 6: Water, a fundamental resource for Mendoza.
