A sunset horseback ride through the foothills of Luján de Cuyo, ending with a countryside barbecue and local wines. A warm blend of nature, gastronomy, and gaucho culture.
Sunset Horseback Riding with asado argentino
In this horseback ride, you’ll enjoy the best views of the Andes mountain range at sunset, as the sun disappears behind the hills. Along with a group of tourists from around the world, we’ll head to the foothills in a SAK vehicle. On horseback, we’ll leisurely explore mountain trails, cross water springs, and spot native wildlife such as condors and foxes, while our specialized guides share insights about the surroundings and local flora, including jarilla.
As the day ends, we’ll return to the base to enjoy a delicious traditional barbecue paired with local wines. This will be the perfect ending to an experience that blends nature, gastronomy, and gaucho culture. We’ll immerse ourselves in the harmony of the landscape and tradition as the sun sets over the Andes. At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote responsible tourism, taking care of the vital water resource.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
