Trekking – San Ignacio Ranch – PVD
This exclusive trekking tour takes you to Estancia Andina San Ignacio, a unique spot in the foothills of the Andes, just 16 km from Mendoza. In the morning, we’ll pick you up and head to El Challao, learning about Mendoza’s biodiversity and climate along the way. Upon arrival, we’ll be welcomed with snacks to recharge and explore the estancia, discovering its wildlife and regenerative tourism approach. Then, our guide will prepare us for a three-hour, easy-level hike, where we’ll find natural springs, spot condors and foxes, and learn about the local flora.
At midday, a regional lunch paired with local wines will be waiting for us, allowing us to share stories with our gaucho hosts. At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote sustainable tourism and water conservation in every journey.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
