Villavicencio Natural Reserve Tour
The Villavicencio Natural Reserve offers a unique experience to connect with Mendoza’s native flora and fauna. Just 50 km from the city, this protected area in the foothills of the Andes invites you to explore its history and nature. During the tour, you will visit the iconic hotel, its gardens and terraces, and learn about the local biodiversity, such as guanacos, condors, and the jarilla, the provincial flower.
This half-day tour is perfect for those who don’t have time for a full-day excursion to the High Mountain. An expert guide will accompany you, teaching you about conservation and sustainable practices in the region. Additionally, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Andes Mountains. What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
