Wine tasting course in a winery

In this wine tasting course, you’ll become an expert while touring Mendoza’s most emblematic wineries, known as the “birthplace of Malbec.” You’ll learn about the agro-climatic and enological factors that influence wine, as well as tasting techniques to compare its aromatic descriptors. You’ll explore winemaking processes, from maceration to barrel fermentation, and practice with a professional tasting sheet to record your learnings.

At the end, you’ll enjoy a lunch with grilled flavors, paired with the region’s most representative wines. At SAK Wine & Travel, we work to minimize the negative impact on Mendoza’s communities, contributing to water conservation.

What do you need for this tour?

Essential items

We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:

  • Small backpack.
  • Extra mineral water.
  • Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
  • Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.

Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.

Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
