In the region’s premier wine region, better known as “the cradle of Malbec”, we will immerse ourselves in a world full of perceptions that will help you understand the agro-climatic and enological factors that influence the characteristics of wine.
Through tasting techniques, we will learn to compare different wines with their aromatic descriptors. We will study some viticultural factors such as the aptitude of each variety for obtaining fruity wines, first fruits, rosés, light reds and wines for aging. We will learn about maceration times, optimal fermentation temperatures, some must extraction techniques, winemaking systems, trials with different yeast strains, fermentation in barrels and aging on lees.
