In Mendoza, a place full of outdoor scenery, you will be able to practice fly fishing and enjoy a unique environment. Immerse yourself in nature and let yourself be carried away by the tranquility and its landscapes full of mountains, lakes and rivers. 

In this excursion, you will get to know some of the outstanding areas for this sport, depending on the time of the year, we will visit Valle de Uco, Potrerillos or the south of the province. To live this excursion to the fullest, we will be accompanied by experienced guides who will give us the correct readings of each river and water mirror we reach.

To start this trip, we will leave early in the morning from the lodge to the point previously chosen for the activity, together with a driver who will accompany us during the whole day. Then, our experienced fly fishing guide will provide us with all the necessary equipment, as well as some references about the place and technical specifications about the activity and safety, to make the most of the benefits of the region. 

The sites chosen for this tour will allow us to fly fish for rainbow and brown trout in fast-flowing mountain streams, with the best views of the Andes Mountains.

Then it will be time to connect with silence and your own passions, a memory that will fill the soul of those who enjoy simplicity and self-knowledge in an ideal environment to rest and reflect. Mountains of multicolored peaks and a diverse flora will be witnesses of a true connection between man and nature.

This experience will also have another magical moment prepared for us in an outstanding restaurant, where we will be able to have lunch with the best dishes, paired with some local wines.

The sunset of a magical day will indicate the end of our tour, after a full day of fishing and having tasted the different flavors of the land of the sun and good wine, it will be time to return to the city, but not before understanding that, to be connected we do not need technology or signals, but rather to listen inside us what makes us well.

Essential items

We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:

– Small backpack.

– Extra mineral water.

– Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen SPF50, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).

– Special clothing: hat or cap, sunglasses, comfortable and warm clothing (fleece/sweater, windbreaker), appropriate footwear for the activity.

Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
