Rock Climbing in Los Andes

The Rock Climbing tour in Potrerillos offers an intense experience in the heart of the Andes Mountains. Departing from Mendoza, we travel along National Route 7 until we reach the Paredes del Ferrocarril. There, an expert guide will provide an introduction to rock climbing, equipment usage, and safety rules. With walls ranging from 20 to 30 meters, the tour is tailored to different difficulty levels, from beginners to experts.

The activity lasts about eight hours, including ascents, healthy snacks, and assistance. By the end of the day, you’ll feel like you’ve touched the sky. By traveling with us, you’re joining a sustainable experience, helping to conserve the water resources of Mendoza.

Our trips are designed so that when you return home, you feel that something has changed. We believe that sustainable tourism is the path to achieving this, which is why we contribute to Sustainable Development Goal No. 6: Clean Water, a fundamental resource for Mendoza.

What do you need for this tour?

Essential items

We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:

  • Small backpack.
  • Extra mineral water.
  • Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
  • Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.

Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.

Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
