Small group tour to the high Andes up to Aconcagua viewpoint
Discover the High Peaks on a group adventure through the Andes Mountains. We’ll depart from Mendoza to explore stunning landscapes, charming mountain towns, and historic sites before reaching Aconcagua Provincial Park. Along the way, we will visit Cacheuta, Potrerillos, Uspallata, and the famous Puente del Inca, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
At the park, weather permitting, we’ll walk to the viewpoint, a privileged panoramic spot where you can admire the towering Aconcagua summit, the highest peak in the Americas at 6,962 meters. Surrounded by a majestic landscape, we’ll learn about the region’s native flora and fauna and the importance of this ecosystem for Mendoza.
After enjoying the fresh mountain air, we’ll begin our return to the city. At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote responsible tourism to contribute to the preservation of water, a vital resource for Mendoza.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
