Private tour to the high Andes with trekking to the Quebrada del Durazno
We invite you to explore the Altas Cumbres on a private journey into the vastness of the Andes Mountains. From Mendoza, we’ll travel through stunning landscapes until we reach Aconcagua Provincial Park. Along the way, we’ll visit mountain villages like Cacheuta, Potrerillos, and Uspallata, stop by the Puente del Inca, and get up close to the mighty Aconcagua. A specialized guide will accompany you throughout the trip, adapting the itinerary to your pace so you can enjoy each stop in your own way.
At the park, we’ll start a trek to Quebrada del Durazno, a moderate-difficulty hike through breathtaking mountain scenery. If you prefer a shorter route, you can opt for the trail to the viewpoint. To wrap up the experience, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch in Uspallata before returning to the city. At SAK Wine & Travel, we promote responsible tourism that protects Mendoza’s water resources.

Itinerary

What do you need for this tour?
Essential items
We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:
- Small backpack.
- Extra mineral water.
- Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).
- Special clothing: comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather forecast and footwear suitable for the activity.
Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver about any illness, allergy or physical restriction. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
Note: The best clothing for mountain activities is wool or synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.
